Water Proofing

Benefits of Waterproofing

Better Health. Increased water and humidity in your basement or crawlspace lead to damp air. Essentially, these are the main ingredients in the development of toxic mold.

Lower Energy Costs. When you run the heat in your home, it can escape outside through small cracks and other openings.

Storage Protection. Whether your basement is finished or not, you may use the space to store old photos, clothes, holiday decorations, and summer furniture.

A Solid Structure for Future Projects. If you’re planning a basement remodel, you may run into a snag if the flooring and walls have experienced water damage.

Fire Proofing

Flame retardants provide an important layer of fire protection by helping to prevent or slow the spread of fire. Flame retardants inhibit or suppress the combustion process. They reduce the amount of heat released from a fire and the potential for a fire to spread.

Joint Sealants

Joint sealing prevents unwanted surface water and contamination like spent fuel or oil from entering into the concrete or asphalt structure via the expansion or contraction joints. The sealant will move with the concrete or asphalt whilst providing a constant seal against the elements and any unwanted surface spillages.

Air Barrier

Air barriers keep outside and inside air out of the building enclosure. Air barriers can be located anywhere in the building enclosure—at the exterior surface, the interior surface, or at any location in between. In heating climates, interior air barriers control the exfiltration of the interior, often moisture-laden, air.
